Takama products
By using Takama products you will stretch and lengthen fascia creating an increased flow of blood, lymph, body fluids and meridian energies. In addition, the neurologic activation of physically holding and moving something in the hand adds to the overall stimulation to the whole system, brain, eyes, balance and neurologic feedback.
Cork
The Cork we use, for our yang ball, is a 100% natural plant tissue that comes from the Cork Oak tree. It is a completely natural raw material, with unique properties which give it an unrivalled character. The materials used are formed from small granules of cork which are bound together under high pressure to form uniform density. It is light, impermeable to liquids and gases, elastic and compressible. The cork is easy to clean and maintain and doesn’t absorb dust helping to protect against allergies. Furthermore, it is completely biodegradable, renewable and recyclable.
Brass
The metal we use, to create the cool yin section of the accupressure stick, is brass, a non-ferrous alloy that primarily consists of copper and zinc. Pure brass is non-toxic and has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. Also thanks to the presence of copper, brass is good for skeleton problems and helps eliminating toxins in the body.Today, almost 90% of all brass alloys are recycled.
Wood
Untreated beech from sustainable German forests are at the core of our yin ball. This beautiful wood is tough with a close straight grain so it polishes well and withstands shocks and wear. You might find a few minor blemishes from the turning process but this is all part of the uniqueness of each ball.
Our manufacturing partners in Germany operate from an eco friendly factory producing 45% of their own electricity. The remaining energy being supplied by certified hydroelectric power.
